Sims 4 skills cheats: The basics and turning cheats on
Before you use any of the skill cheats in the Sims 4, you need to make sure you turn cheats mode on.
To turn cheats on in The Sims 4, you first need to open the cheats console. You can open the cheats console by entering “Ctrl + Shift + C” on your PC or the CMD+Shift+C on Mac, while in-game.
Hack Sims 4 Machine
Locate the Tmex-AllCheats.ts4script file in your Downloads folder and right-click on it. Click Copy and then navigate to your Sims 4 Mods folder in Windows Explorer, or Finder on Mac. The Sims 4 Mods folder is located at the following location on PC and Mac: Documents Electronic Arts The Sims 4 Mods.
This will bring up the cheat dialogue box where you can enter your cheat codes. Once you have typed in the cheat, don’t forget to press “Enter” afterwards. Before you use your cheat, type testingcheats true into the dialogue box and hit enter.
Using skills cheats in The Sims 4: The format
Skills cheats in The Sims 4 follows a basic syntax. To use Sims 4 skills cheats, you will need to follow this format to put into the Sims 4 cheats dialogue box.
stats.set_skill_level <skill name> <level>
You will need to add Major_ before every skill name that goes up to skill level ten and minor in front of the hidden cheats or skills that only go up to level five. So, as an example, accepted skill names are, as follows:
Adultminor_localculture, Skill_Bowling, Skill_Dogtraining, Skill_Fitness, Skill_Hidden_TreadMill_Rock_ClimbingWall_Climb, Minor_Dancing, Minor_Juicefizzing, Minor_Mediaproduction, Hidden_Skating and Vampirelore are exceptions.)
If you find that the Sims 4 skill cheats are not working, you might need to try using stats.set_skill_level adultmajor_x for adult skills, stats.set_skill_level skill_child_ for kids’ skills, and stats.set_skill_level skill_toddler_ for toddlers’ skills.
